Troy Anthony Hall (died 1992), better known by his stage name Kid Hood, was an American rapper from Manhattan, New York. His only release was as a guest feature on the remix of "Scenario" (1992) by A Tribe Called Quest that was recorded only days before his death.
Hall was managed by his close friend Kenny Lee, who connected Hall with Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest. Q-Tip was impressed by Hall's dedication to rapping and invited him to appear on "Scenario (Remix)" alongside Leaders of the New School. Lee also worked with Hurricane and Kool T of The Afros to record a demo tape.
Hall lived in a group home in Harlem, New York, when he did not reside with Lee in Queens. In 1992, Hall was beaten and fatally shot in the head outside of the Harlem group home where he lived.
