James Savage (born 18 December 1972), better known by his stage name Jayo Felony, is an American rapper from San Diego, California. He became the first rapper from San Diego to be signed to a major label when he was signed to JMJ Records/Def Jam Recordings in 1993. In 1994, he released his debut album, Take a Ride. It would be another four years until he released his second album, Whatcha Gonna Do?. The following year, he released the album Underground, which was followed by his last album Crip Hop in 2001.
