Jamiz (born Jamahl Harris in California) is an American former rap recording artist, singer, lyricist, and producer. He's not to be confused with another recording artist named Jamiz, whose full name is Jamiz White, an R&B singer from North Carolina. Jamiz first came on the scene as a member of the new jack swing group, G-Wiz, perhaps best known and remembered for their 1993 single, "Teddy Bear". Not only did he perform with the other members on their album, Naughty Bits, but he also wrote and produced the songs on it. He was also featured on B.T.S.'s (not the K-pop group, but another American new jack swing group) original version of their single, "Can You Feel It". Following G-Wiz's breakup, Jamiz made a solo album from 1994 for RCA Records titled Get Loot and his only single from it was released, which shares the same title. But for some unexplained reason, his album was never officially released. He co-produced the "Get Loot" song with Brandon "Torch" Hill and produced three other songs on his solo album: "Innocent Image", "Indian Beauty", and "Toss It Up".
