Innercity Griots is the second studio album by American Hip hop group Freestyle Fellowship. It was released on April 28, 1993 via 4th & B'way Records, Island Records and PolyGram. Recording sessions took place at Sonara Studios and Crystal Recording in Los Angeles and at Studiodad Recording in New York City through April 1992 to February 1993. Production was handled by The Earthquake Brothers, Freestyle Fellowship, Daddy-O, Kevin O'Neal, Edman, JMD and Bambawar, with Kim Buie and Kedar Massenburg serving as executive producers. It features guest appearances by Daddy-O, Cockni O'Dire, Volume 10, Ganjah K, Archie and Spoon. The album was released two years later after the group's debut To Whom It May Concern..., it serves as the first album by the group to be released on a major label.
Innercity Griots released the singles: "Bullies of the Block", "Hot Potato" and "Inner City Boundaries". Shortly after the album's release, group member Self Jupiter was incarcerated and Freestyle Fellowship disbanded. The group would not release another album until Temptations eight years later.
