Inner City Posse, commonly abbreviated as I.C.P., was an American hip hop group from Detroit, Michigan. The group is an early incarnation of the Insane Clown Posse, and consisted of current duo Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope. I.C.P. also included rappers D-Lyrical and The Jester, and 2 Dope's brother John Kickjazz. The Inner City Posse released an album and four EPs in the early 1990s. Following the release of 1991's Dog Beats, the group was reduced to two members and rebranded itself as the Insane Clown Posse.
