William Braunstein (born 14 July 1972), better known by his stage name Ill Bill, is an American rapper and record producer from Brooklyn, New York. After having begun his career as a member of Non Phixion, Ill Bill has since embarked on a solo career and is known for his hardcore, sexual and violent lyrics. He is the founder and CEO of Uncle Howie Records and is the older brother of Necro.
In late 1994, MC Serch linked up his protégé Sabac Red with Bill, Goretex, and DJ Eclipse, creating Non Phixion. The group released several singles throughout the late 1990s before releasing two studio albums in the early 2000s. Bill released his debut studio album, What's Wrong with Bill? in 2004. Two years later, he became a member of La Coka Nostra, with whom he has released two albums. Bill released his second album, The Hour of Reprisal, in 2008, to mixed reviews from critics. His latest album, The Grimy Awards, was released in 2013.
