Hatred, Passions and Infidelity is the second studio album by American rapper and producer Diamond D. It was released in August 26, 1997 under Mercury Records and PolyGram. The album was released five years after his acclaimed debut Stunts, Blunts and Hip Hop. Recording sessions took place in June 1996 to February 1997 at Studio With a View, Chung King Studios and D&D Studios in New York City. The album was primarily produced by Diamond D, Sha-Eaze, Buckwild and Kid Capri. Features guest appearances by K.Terroribul, John Dough, Gina Thompson, Mark Lo, Paradise, Don Barron, Veronica, Phife Dawg (of A Tribe Called Quest), Pete Rock, Sadat X, Busta Rhymes, and D.I.T.C. members: Fat Joe, Lord Finesse, Big L and A.G.. In the period between his album releases, he spent some time producing for a number of hip hop artists and groups, including Brand Nubian, Cypress Hill, Fat Joe, Fugees, House of Pain, KRS-One, Lord Finesse, Tha Alkaholiks, The Pharcyde, Illegal and Xzibit. Hatred, Passions and Infidelity features the singles "The Hiatus" and "5 Fingas of Death" produced by Kid Capri.
The album received positive reviews from music critics and fans.
