Rodney Chapman, known professionally as Godfather Don, is an American record producer and rapper from Brooklyn, New York. He debuted in 1991 with his album, Hazardous. Chapman spent the 1990s working extensively in the New York underground hip hop scene primarily as a producer. He formed the duo The Cenobites with Kool Keith and released an extended play in 1995.
Chapman released four instrumental albums on Hydra Entertainment in 1997 before the release of his second studio album, Diabolique, in 1998. His third album, Donnie Brasco, was released in 2010 after it had been shelved in 1999. Chapman collaborated with French producer Parental for the 2020 album Osmosis.
