Ghetto Dope is the debut studio album by American hip hop group 5th Ward Boyz. It was released in May 18, 1993 via Rap-A-Lot Records, Underground Records and Priority Records. Recording sessions took place at Jungle Style Studios and Digital Services in Houston, Texas from July 1992 to February 1993. Production was handled by John Bido, N.O. Joe, Mike Dean and James Smith, who was also serving as executive producer together with Edward Russell and O.G. Dewey. It includes guest appearances from Scarface, Bushwick Bill and Devin the Dude. Group member Richard "Lo Life" Nash was absent on the project due to his incarceration.
The album peaked at #176 on the Billboard 200, #19 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #26 on the Heatseekers chart. Ghetto Dope produced the two singles: "Thanks for the Blessing" and "Same Ol'", but did not made it to the Billboard charts.
