"Funk Soul Sensation" is the debut single by American rapper Jemini the Gifted One. The track was produced by Organized Konfusion for Jemini's debut EP Scars and Pain. "Funk Soul Sensation" was released on 7 March 1995 as the first single for the album. The single is Jemini's most successful song, and is unique as a hip hop song as he uses two different voices to rap on the track, using his natural voice ("The Gifted One") and a more high-pitched voice ("The Funk Soul Sensation", the namesake of the song).
Music video[]
The "Funk Soul Sensation" music video was filmed in Jemini's native Brooklyn, and shows him rapping in front of an apartment block and an old house, and also shows him playing pool.
