James F. Campbell (born 1969), better known by his stage names Freddie Foxxx and Bumpy Knuckles, is an American rapper from Long Island, New York. He began his hip hop career in the early 1980s. In 1986, he was slated to meet with producer Eric B., who was searching for an MC to record with. Foxxx missed the meeting, and Eric B. ended up pairing up with Rakim under the name Eric B. & Rakim. However, Eric B. produced the entirety of Foxxx's 1989 debut album Freddie Fox Is Here.

Foxxx's next album, Crazy Like a Foxxx, was shelved, but was later officially released in 2008. Throughout the 1990s, Foxxx made appearances on songs by Boogie Down Productions, Naughty by Nature, M.O.P., O.C. and, most notably, Gang Starr on their song "The Militia" from their 1998 album Moment of Truth. The song was issued as a single, and built a buzz for Foxxx, helping him to prep for next full-length album.

His third album, Industry Shakedown, was released independently in 2000 and featured production from producers such as DJ Premier, Pete Rock and The Alchemist. He has recently released albums in collaboration with artists such as DJ Premier, KRS-One and Statik Selektah.
