Flipmode Squad are an American hip hop collective from New York City, New York. Founded in 1996 by Busta Rhymes, the collective had a regularly changing line-up that included Rampage, Roc Marciano, Rah Digga and Lord Have Mercy. Flipmode Squad made appearances on Busta Rhymes' albums The Coming and When Disaster Strikes... before releasing an album, The Imperial, in 1998. The group's last major appearance was in 2003, when they featured on DJ Kay Slay's album The Streetsweeper Vol. 1.
The name "Flipmode Squad" was credited as a feature on Busta Rhymes' 2009 album Back on My B.S., but it only featured members Show Money and Spliff Star.
The group officially reunited in 2018 to release the single "Flipmode Squad Meets The Conglomerate", a Busta Rhymes song that also featured his new collective The Conglomerate.
