Sittin' on Somethin' Phat is the debut album by American hip hop artist Ant Banks, released in 1993 on Jive Records. After rising to prominence for his work with labelmates Spice 1 and Too $hort, Banks signed to Jive and began work on the album. It is entirely self-produced with the exception of one song produced by Too $hort, and features guest appearances from Too $hort, Spice 1, Pooh-Man and Mhisani.
The album charted at #123 on the US Billboard 200, and #22 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Its tracks "Late Nite" (which appears as "Late Nite Fuck" on the album) and "Livin' the Life" were released as singles.
