The Fila Fresh Crew was an American hip hop group based in Dallas, Texas. The group consisted of Fresh K, Dr. Rock and Doc-T. Dr. Rock's association with Dr. Dre during his stint as a DJ for the World Class Wreckin' Cru helped land the Fila Fresh Crew a spot on the N.W.A. and the Posse compilation album in 1987. A year later, the trio released their debut album Tuffest Man Alive in 1988 before breaking up a short time afterward.
Doc-T changed his stage name to The D.O.C. and became a valuable contributor to records by Eazy-E, Dr. Dre and gangsta rap group N.W.A. The D.O.C. released his debut solo album, No One Can Do It Better, in 1989. Dr. Rock continued to re-release the Fila Fresh Crew's works and released a solo album of his own in 1991 under the pseudonym Fela Fresh Crew before fading into obscurity.
