Cedric Hill, better known by his stage name E.S.G. (an abbreviation of Everyday Street Gangsta), is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. He helped to popularise the chopped and screwed style of hip hop music, and was a member of the Screwed Up Click. His debut album Ocean of Funk was released in 1994 and contained the popular single "Swangin' and Bangin'". Unfortunately, he was unable to follow its success as he was incarcerated for two years during 1995 to 1997 for manslaughter.
