Doggystyle Records is an American record label founded by Snoop Dogg in 1999. It is named after his 1993 debut album, Doggystyle. The label started as a place to house many artists that had ties with Snoop Dogg in the past but were not currently signed to a label, as well as some newcomers. However, Snoop only used the label for his own releases, and many artists left as a result. Several former Death Row Records artists who had collaborated with Snoop Dogg in the early-to-mid 1990s were signed to the label.
