B4.DA.$$ (pronounced Before the Money) is the debut studio album by American rapper Joey Bada$$, released in 2015 on Cinematic Music Group and Relentless Records. The album was originally announced via Twitter in April 2013 and planned to be released in 2014, but was pushed back to 20 January 2015, his 20th birthday. The album features production work from fellow Pro Era members Kirk Knight and Chuck Strangers, in addition to Statik Selektah, DJ Premier, Hit-Boy and J Dilla, among others.
The album peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, selling 53,990 copies in its first week. It received generally positive reviews from music critics, praising the production work and Joey's performance.
