Willie Junior Maxwell II (born June 7, 1991), better known by his stage name Fetty Wap, is an American rapper from Paterson, New Jersey. He rose to prominence after his debut single "Trap Queen" reached #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in May 2015, leading to a contract with 300 Entertainment. Maxwell subsequently released two Top 10 singles in the US, "679" and "My Way". His eponymously titled debut album was released in September 2015 and reached #1 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
