Edward Anderson (born November 27, 1970), better known by his stage name Edo.G (formerly stylised Ed O.G), is an American rapper from Boston, Massachusetts. He is most well known for being the leader of the hip hop group Ed O.G & Da Bulldogs, with whom he released two albums in the early 1990s.
Anderson made his debut as a teenager on the 1986 compilation album Boston Goes Def! (The Champions of Boston Rap!). At the start of the 1990s, Anderson rose to prominence as the frontman of the group Ed O.G & Da Bulldogs, who scored a hit in 1991 with the single "I Got to Have It". After two albums with the group, they were dropped by their record label and Anderson withdrew from the hip hop spotlight. In 1996, he reemerged as a solo artist with the Japan-only release Six Song EP. In 2001, Anderson released his debut solo album, The Truth Hurts.
