Doin' Hard Time on Planet Earth is the only debut studio album by American Hip hop group from Harlem, New York 2 Black 2 Strong MMG (Consists of Johnny Marrs (aka 2 Black 2 Strong) and his crew MMG (Militant Manhattan Gangstas or Mighty Motherfuckin' Gangstas): Warchild, Mean Gene, Dark Chocolate - The Devil's Food Cake Lover and C Dogg). It was released on July 2, 1991 via Relativity Records and Clappers Records. Recording sessions took place at Planet Sound Studios and Greene St. Recording in New York City through August 1990 to April 1991. Production was handled entirely by Chill Will, with the exception of one track produced by Norval Curtis and The Dub Organizer. It features guest appearances by Gamilah Shabazz, Jimmy Love, Quiet Storm & A-Bomb.
Doin' Hard Time on Planet Earth released the singles: "Burn Baby Burn", "Up in the Mountains" and "Across The 110". The album received positive reviews from music critics.
