Sidney Royel Selby III (born 3 May 1997), better known by his stage name Desiigner, is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. He rose to prominence in 2016 with the release of his single "Panda", which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. Following the song's success, he signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music imprint in 2016. Selby subsequently appeared on West's 2016 album The Life of Pablo, appearing on the songs "Pt. 2" and "Freestyle 4".
