Damon J. Blackman (born August 9, 1974), better known by his stage name Dame Grease, is an American record producer and rapper from Manhattan, New York. He was born in the Bronx and raised in the Manhattan neighbourhood of Harlem, where he began his musical career as a record producer. In 1996, he first gained recognition through his work with Bad Boy Records and The LOX. Blackman experienced his greatest success while working with DMX and his Ruff Ryders Entertainment record label.
