Daddy's Little Girl, is the only debut studio album by American female Hip hop artist Nikki D. It was released on September 3, 1991 under Def Jam Recordings and Columbia Records. Recording sessions took place at Power Play Studios, Chung King Studios, Libra Digital Sound, Marathon Studios, Greene St. Recording and Island Media Studios in New York City from June 1990 to January 1991. Production was handled by Leaders of the New School, Sam Sever, Eric "Vietnam" Sadler, S.I.D. Reynolds, Smooth Ice, The Epitome of Scratch and Prince Paul, with Russell Simmons as the executive producer of the LP.
Daddy's Little Girl spawned the singles: "Lettin' Off Steam", "Hang On Kid", "Wasted" and the title track "Daddy's Little Girl" (which debuted at #10 on the Hot Dance Singles Sales and at #1 on the Hot Rap Singles). The album reached #54 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the US.
The album was also notable for being Def Jam's first rap album released by a female.
