Da King & I was an American hip hop duo from New York City, New York. The group consisted of rapper Izzy Ice and record producer Majesty. The pair debuted in 1988 as Izzy Ice and DJ Majesty with the Howie Tee-produced single "Soulman". They signed with Rowdy Records in June 1992 as Da King & I and released their debut single, "Flip da Scrip" in November 1992. A few months later, on 13 July 1993, they released their first and only album, Contemporary Jeep Music. The duo disbanded shortly after the release of the album.
