Mark S. Jordan (born April 14, 1969), better known by his stage name DJ Pooh, is an American record producer, rapper, screenwriter and film director. He has produced songs for artists such as Del tha Funkee Homosapien, LL Cool J, Tha Dogg Pound, King Tee, Snoop Dogg and 2Pac, and is well known for his association with Ice Cube.
DJ Pooh began his career in film by producing the drive-by shooting sequence in the 1991 film Boyz n the Hood. He went on to help write the film Friday with Ice Cube, in which he portrays the character Red. He has also written, produced and directed his own films, which include the 2000 film 3 Strikes and the 2001 film The Wash, which stars Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
DJ Pooh worked as a co-producer and writer for the successful game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. He served as a creative consultant for the game Grand Theft Auto V and a co-writer of the online version, in addition to being a DJ on the radio station "West Coast Classics" within the game.
