Thomas E. Pough, known professionally as DJ Polo, was an American disc jockey and record producer from New York City, New York. He is best known for his partnership with rapper Kool G Rap as the duo Kool G Rap & DJ Polo, who released three albums together in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Pough was a member of the Juice Crew collective during the same period.
Kool G Rap split from Pough to embark on a solo career in 1993. Pough released one studio album, Polo's Playhouse, in 1998.
Pough passed away on July 27th, 2024.
