Derrick Jones (born 19 June 1970), better known by his stage name D-Nice, is an American DJ, rapper, record producer, beatboxer and photographer from the Bronx, New York. He began his career in the mid-1980s as a member of Boogie Down Productions. He discovered Kid Rock in 1988, landing him a deal with Jive Records. D-Nice embarked on a short solo career in the early 1990s, releasing two studio albums.
