Daniel Dimitri Rodriquez (10 November 1967 - 6 October 1990), known as D-Boy Rodriquez, was a Christian hip hop artist from The Bronx, New York. He released two albums, Plantin' a Seed in 1989 and The Lyrical Strength of the Street Poet in 1990, that received moderate commercial success. A compilation album, titled Peace to the Poet, was released posthumously.
Rodriquez was shot and killed when leaving his East Dallas apartment. No official motive has yet been revealed for the shooting.
