Convicts were an American hip hop duo from Houston, Texas. The duo consisted of 3-2 and Big Mike and was signed to Rap-A-Lot Records. Convicts released their self-titled debut album in 1991, but it failed to achieve as much success as other artists on the Rap-A-Lot roster at the time.
Both members of the duo would go on to greater success later in their careers. Big Mike became a member of Rap-A-Lot's premier group, Geto Boys, and stayed a part of the group for three years, before embarking on a successful solo career. 3-2 became a member of Blac Monks and the Screwed Up Click, while also releasing several solo albums.
