Gregory Fernan Hutchinson (born August 2, 1967), better known by his stage names Cold 187um and Big Hutch, is an American rapper and record producer, and the leader of the hip hop group Above the Law. Above the Law was signed to Ruthless Records in late 1989, and released their debut album, Livin' Like Hustlers, in 1990. The album was overseen and co-produced by Dr. Dre and featured members of the group N.W.A. Cold 187um, who became Dre's protégé, claims that he created the blueprint to the G-funk sound, for which Dre was subsequently credited.

Above the Law contributed greatly to the success of Ruthless after Dr. Dre's departure and the breakup fo N.W.A. During his tenure on the label, Cold 187um produced for Eazy-E's EPs 5150: Home 4 tha Sick and the Dr. Dre-attacking It's On (Dr. Dre) 187umKilla, and MC Ren's solo album The Villain in Black, amongst other projects. Cold 187um and Above the Law parted ways with Ruthless in 1996, and Cold 187um stopped making music for a few years. In mid-1999, he was brought in by Suge Knight to replace Daz Dillinger as head producer at Death Row Records. During his tenure at the label, he oversaw production on the posthumous 2Pac album Until the End of Time and touched up unreleased Tha Dogg Pound songs for the unauthorised album 2002. In 2004, Cold 187um was jailed for drug trafficking.

In 2008, after his release from prison, he released the album Fresh out the Pen. In 2011, he was signed to Psychopathic Records, and released the album The Only Solution the following year. Cold 187um left the label in 2013 due to poor sales and feedback of the album. His latest album, The Big Hit, was released in 2014.
