Code Red is the fifth and final studio album by American Hip hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. It was released in October 12, 1993 via Jive Records. Recording sessions took place at Battery Studios in London, Enterprise Studios in Burbank, California, Andora Studios in Los Angeles, Cherokee Studios in Hollywood, Live Oak Studios in Berkeley, Califonia, A Touch of Jazz Studios in Philadelphia and at D.A.R.P. Studios in Atlanta, Georgia from August 1992 to May 1993. Production was handled by Pete Rock, Teddy Riley, Markell Riley, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Xavier Hargrove, Will Smith, DJ Jazz, Mr. Lee, Victor Emanuel Cooke, Hula & K. Fingers and Dallas Austin. It includes a guest appearance from Christopher Williams.
The album debuted at #64 on the Billboard 200 and #39 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Code Red released the four charted singles: "Boom! Shake the Room", "I Wanna Rock", "I'm Looking for the One (To Be with Me)" and "Can't Wait to Be With You". On January 14, 1994, the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with selling 500,000 copies in its first week of sales.
