Classical Two were a hardcore/old school hip hop group either from Harlem or the Bronx, that were known for their 1987 rap joint, "New Generation." Along with Just-Ice, they pioneered a nastier, violent and profane (though graphic descriptions of violence and profanity wasn't the case until later on with joints such as those by Ice-T) genre of rap called hardcore hip hop. Their lyrics are dark and stark, accompanied by starker samples.
