"California Love" is a song by 2Pac featuring Dr. Dre and Roger Troutman. It was released as 2Pac's comeback single after his release from prison in 1995 and was his first single as a Death Row Records artist. It was produced by Dr. Dre and is a celebration of the Californian lifestyle, featuring references to many California locations.

Due to it being intended to be released on a shelved Dr. Dre album, "California Love" appeared as a remixed version on 2Pac's 1996 album All Eyez on Me. The remix was produced by Laylaw and D'Maq but credited to Dr. Dre.[1] The original version has since been released on 2Pac's Greatest Hits album and on the United Kingdom pressing of All Eyez on Me.

The song is perhaps 2Pac's best-known song and his most successful, staying at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks (as a double-A side single with "How Do U Want It"). The song was nominated for a posthumous Grammy Award as a Best Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1997.
