C.E.B. (an initialism of Countin' Endless Bank) was an American hip hop group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group was active from 1992 to 1993 and consisted of rappers Steady B, Cool C, and Ultimate Eaze. Steady B and Cool C had successful careers in the 1980s, but their success had faded by the start of the 1990s.
After releasing their debut single "Get the Point" independently in 1992, C.E.B. signed to Ruffhouse Records and released their debut album, Countin' Endless Bank, the following year. The album was unsuccessful, and C.E.B. was dropped from Ruffhouse the same year of its release.
All three members of C.E.B. would have their careers in music ended due to criminal activity. Ultimate Eaze was imprisoned around the time of the release of Countin' Endless Bank for kidnapping and served an unknown amount of jail time. Steady B and Cool C were involved in a failed bank robbery in 1996, which resulted in the fatal shooting of a police officer by the latter. Steady B is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole, while Cool C has been on death row and awaiting execution for the past twenty years.
