Shawn L. Thomas (born January 14, 1972), better known by his stage name C-Bo, is an American rapper from Sacramento, California. He is currently signed to his label West Coast Mafia Records, which he founded in 1998. C-Bo has sold over 3.5 million records independently since 1993.
C-Bo has had an infamous relationship with law enforcement. He gained notoriety in 1998 when he was arrested because his violent rap lyrics violated the terms of his parole. He rapped his court statement to the presiding judge and was given probation on the condition that he rapped for an anti-crime Public Service Announcement.
