Business Never Personal is the fourth studio album by American Hip hop duo EPMD. It was released in July 28, 1992 via Def Jam Recordings and distributed by Columbia Records. Recording sessions took place at EPMD Studio, North Shore Studios, Rockin' Reel Studios and Power Play Studios in Long Island, New York from June 1991 to April 1992. Production was handled entirely by Erick Sermon, PMD and DJ Scratch with co-production from Charlie Marotta and Mr. Bozack. It features guest appearances by Hit Squad members: Das EFX, K-Solo and Redman.
Business Never Personal debuted at #14 on the US Billboard 200 chart and #5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Business Never Personal spawned the two hit singles: "Crossover", which peaked at #42 on the Billboard Hot 100, #14 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks, #1 on the Hot Rap Singles chart and #12 on the Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Chart and the song "Head Banger" peaked at #75 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks and #11 on the Hot Rap Singles chart.
