Simmie Sims III (born September 10, 1993), known professionally as Buddy, is an American rapper and singer from Compton, California.
Sims was discovered by Pharrell Williams as a teenager and signed to Williams' i Am Other record label in 2011. He released his debut mixtape, Idle Time, in 2014. Sims left the label in 2016 and signed with RCA Records. His debut studio album, Harlan & Alondra, was released in 2018. Sims collaborated with Kent Jamz for the 2020 album Janktape Vol. 1.
