Botany Boys are an American hip hop group from Houston, Texas. The group's name is a reference to Botany Lane in the Cloverland area of Houston where members of the group resided. Botany Boys are among the foremost contributors to the Houston screw scene, and were notable affiliates of DJ Screw.
Botany Boys released their two albums on their own label, Big Shot Records. Their debut album, Thought of Many Ways, was released in 1997. Its follow up, Forever Botany, was released in 1999 and managed to enter the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at #99 in 2000. Since then, the group members have concentrated more on solo projects, with C-Note being the most notable.
