Boston Goes Def! (The Champions of Boston Rap!) is a compilation of Boston hip hop, released in 1986 on Beautiful Sounds. The album is notable for featuring the debut of rapper Edo.G, who appears under the stage name Edo Rock as a member of the Fresh to Impress FTI Crew. The majority of artists featured on the compilation released no additional material. Proceeds from the album were donated to the Greater Boston Youth at Risk Program, a volunteer organisation established to help Boston-area youth.
