Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr. (born November 14, 1982), known professionally as Boosie Badazz (formerly Lil Boosie), is an American rapper and actor from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He began rapping in the late 1990s as a member of the collective Concentration Camp and eventually pursued a solo career in 2000 with the release of his debut album Youngest of da Camp. After leaving the collective's label the following year, Hatch signed with Pimp C's Trill Entertainment to release his second album, For My Thugz (2002). As one of the most prominent figures of Southern hip hop, he has released seven solo studio albums, four collaborative albums and over 40 mixtapes.

In 2009, Hatch was sentenced to four years in prison on drug and gun charges. He was indicted on first-degree murder charges the following year, and was also sentenced to 10 years on multiple charges of drug possession with intent of distribution. He was released in 2014 after serving five years in prison. Hatch changed his stage name from Lil Boosie to Boosie Badazz in 2014.
