Tyruss Gerald Himes (March 31, 1968 - December 5, 2016), better known by his stage name Big Syke, was an American rapper from Los Angeles, California. His stage name was a revised version of his childhood nickname "Little Psycho". After beginning his career as a member of the group Evil Mind Gangsta's, Himes met Tupac Shakur in 1991 and the two became good friends. Himes was a member of Shakur's groups Thug Life and, later, Outlawz.
Himes embarked on a solo career with the 1996 album Be Yo' Self, and went on to release three additional albums in the 2000s, including two released through Rap-A-Lot Records.
On 5 December 2016, Himes was found dead at his home in Hawthorne. His death is believed to be of natural causes.
