Milton Powell (December 4, 1977 - June 18, 2023), better known by his stage name Big Pokey, was an American rapper from Houston, Texas, and is one of the original members of the Screwed Up Click.
Big Pokey joined up with DJ Screw in the early 1990s and started appearing on Screw's many mixtapes. His first full-length album, Hardest Pit in the Litter, was released in early 1999. The following year, he released the album D Game 2000, another album of mid-tempo 808-driven beats featuring several of his Houston peers as guests. In 2002, he released the album Da Sky's da Limit. In 2005, he was featured on the Paul Wall song "Sittin' Sidewayz", which reached #93 on the Billboard Top 100.
Big Pokey died on June 18, 2023, after he collapsed onstage during a performance.
