Clay Dixon, known professionally as Beatmaster Clay D., is an American rapper and record producer from Miami, Florida. He made his debut with the single "The DJ's Hot (Jam in the Box)" in 1987. Dixon released his debut album, You Be You and I Be Me, in collaboration with The Get Funky Crew in 1988. He teamed up with rapper Prince Rahiem for the 1990 album Pullit All the Way Out. Dixon released We're Goin' Off with The New Get Funky Crew in 1991. His only solo studio album, Out the Can, was released in 1994.
