Bang Em Smurf the man who wanted back in g unit is an actor/rapper, known for 50 Cent: Your Life's on the Line (1999), 50 Cent: In da Club (2003) and Beef III (2005). Although he's a skilled rapper, Bang 'Em (aka Bang 'Em Smurf, real name Daniel Calliste) came up through the world of beef. The Queens native was a short-lived member of 50 Cent's G-Unit posse, but he left after disagreeing with the handling of his career. Things got hot when Bang 'Em claimed 50 and crew showed up at a video shoot for his post G-Unit work, but the rumors have never been substantiated. He served as the self proclaimed "head of security" for the group, in which he protected it's artists from various confrontations, including a scuffle at the Harlem Night's nightclub in Manhattan, involving Hussein Fatal and Young Noble of the Outlawz, in which Bang 'Em approached them and pulled out a Tec 9, threatening to kill them if they kept making diss tracks toward his then friend, 50 cent. He let off a few shots in the air to show them that he wasn't bluffing..." Bang 'Em later formed his label GF Records, "GF" standing for "Gangsta Flip," and soon signed a deal with the Koch distribution company. Working with fellow Queens rapper Domination, Bang 'Em recorded numerous mixtapes promoting the duo's upcoming debut, God Giveth God Taketh Away. In 2005 Bang 'Em landed in prison due to a handgun violation. God Giveth God Taketh Away hit the shelves in September that year while Bang 'Em was still behind bars. Bang Em currently resides in Trinidad And Tobago with an unknown girlfriend. Bang em just completed a YouTube video that's straight fire with Chris Must List if u don't know now u know !
