Back In Business is the fifth studio album by American Hip hop duo EPMD. It was released in September 23, 1997 under Def Jam Recordings. Recording sessions for the album took place at Mirror Image Studios and Soundtrack Studios in New York City from July 1996 to March 1997. The production on the LP was handled by Erick Sermon, DJ Scratch, Parrish Smith, Rockwilder and Agallah. It includes guest appearances by Redman, Das EFX, Nocturnal and Keith Murray. This album was released five years after releasing their solo albums between 1993 and 1996 and also it is the follow up from their 1992 album Business Never Personal.
Back In Business was supported by the singles: "Never Seen Before", "Da Joint" and "Richter Scale". The album was certified Gold by the RIAA in November 17, 1997.
