Titus Glover (8 March 1974 - 1 August 2009), better known by his stage name Baatin, was an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. In the early 1990s, he formed the hip hop group Slum Village with T3 and Jay Dee. In 2002, shortly after the release of the group's third album, Baatin began to experience health problems, which interfered with the group's music and touring performances.
In 2004, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression. While in hospital, he was kicked out of the group with a termination letter signed by T3 and Elzhi. He began to develop a drug problem and lived homeless for more than a year after being evicted from his apartment that was being paid for by his record label.
A European promoter offered Baatin a chance to restart his career with some overseas shows, and Baatin accepted and began work on a solo album. A short time before his death, he had rejoined Slum Village and was working on their album Villa Manifesto. He shortly began touring with Slum Village and began the Smoking Grooves Tour.
Baatin died on 31 July 2009 at the age of 35. He was found in his home in northeast Detroit. Medical examiners have said that there were no visible signs of trauma or foul play. The cause of death is currently a drug overdose.
He leaves behind two children Michael Ellis and Aura Glover.
