Christopher Noel Dorsey (born 3 September 1980), better known by his stage name B.G., is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his career in 1992 when he signed to Cash Money Records as a member of duo The B.G.'z alongside Lil Wayne. Both, along with rappers Juvenile and Turk, formed the group Hot Boys in 1997. After releasing five solo albums on the label, B.G. left Cash Money in 2001 to create his label, Chopper City Records.
On 18 July 2012, B.G. was sentenced to fourteen years in prison for gun possession and witness tampering.
