Amaru Entertainment is an American record label founded in early 1997 by Tupac Shakur's mother Afeni Shakur to handle the releases of her son's material after his murder. After the death of Tupac Shakur, the label inherited the rights to his albums 2Pacalypse Now, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z..., Thug Life: Volume 1 and Me Against the World. Amaru Entertainment has also released eight posthumous albums by Tupac Shakur and has released one documentary, Tupac: Resurrection.
