Ain't No Other is the fourth studio album released by American Hip hop female artist MC Lyte. It was released on June 22, 1993 via First Priority Music and Atlantic Records. Recording sessions took place at Future Recording Studios, Battery Studios, Chung King Studios, Power Play Studios, At Large Studios and First Priority Labs in New York City from March 1992 to February 1993. Production was handled by Backspin, Audio Two, Franklin Grant, Markell Riley, Funk, K-Cut, Sir Scratch, "Lil" Chris Smith, Walter "Mucho" Scott and Tyrone Fyffe. It features guest appearances by Lin Que, Makeeba Mooncycle, KRS-One, Big V and Audio Two.
Ain't No Other peaked at #90 on the Billboard 200 and #16 on the Top R&B Albums chart, selling 238,000 copies in the United States. Ain't No Other spawned the two singles: "I Go On", which peaked at #27 on the Hot Rap Singles chart, and the more successful "Ruffneck" which reached #1 on the Hot Rap Singles chart and peaked at #35 on the Billboard Hot 100.
