Acid Rap is the second mixtape by American rapper Chance the Rapper, released in 2013 as a free digital download. It features guest appearances from Vic Mensa, Twista, Action Bronson and Ab-Soul, and production work by brandUn DeShay and Jake One, among others.
The album's lyrics deal with subjects such as adolescence, drug use, violence in Chicago and love. The lyrics by Chance The Rapper are performed in a sung-rapped style over beats that are "varied, dense and cohesive, coming together to create a beautiful aural experience".[1]
The mixtape was met with universal acclaim from music critics and was one of the most popular mixtapes released in 2013. In early July 2013, the mixtape debuted at #63 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart due to bootleg downloads on iTunes and Amazon not affiliated with the artist.
